This policy explains how Mwanga collects, uses, and shares information through our website (mwangapartners.com), our application (app.mwangapartners.com), and related services (the "Services").

1. Summary

Mwanga provides competitive market-intelligence dashboards to funeral homes, compiled from publicly available obituary information. We collect a small amount of account information (through Google Sign-In), the public obituary data that powers the dashboards, and basic usage data. We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information we collect

• Account information (via Google Sign-In). When you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile — name, email address, and account identifier. We never receive your Google password.
• Market-intelligence data (public obituary information). The Services compile publicly available obituary information published by funeral homes and obituary platforms — such as a decedent's name, dates, city/region, funeral home, service type, and disposition. This concerns deceased individuals (see §6).
• Usage data. Basic log and device information (such as IP address and browser type) needed to operate and secure the Services.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services; to authenticate you and manage authorized access; to respond to inquiries and send service communications such as your weekly report; and to comply with law and enforce our Terms.

4. Google user data

Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use your Google account information only to authenticate you and provide the Services. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it except as needed to provide the Services or as required by law.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Services (such as cloud hosting, authentication, and AI text processing) under contract; where required by law or to protect rights and safety; and in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale of assets. If your access is provided through a partner or your employer, the relevant administrator may see account and usage information tied to your access.

6. Public-source data and deceased individuals

The market-intelligence data is derived from publicly available obituary publications and concerns deceased individuals, who are generally outside the scope of U.S. privacy laws. Obituaries may incidentally reference living individuals (such as surviving family). If you believe information in the Services about a living person should be corrected or removed, contact us at isaac@mwangapartners.com and we will review the request.

7. Data retention

We keep account information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. Compiled market-intelligence data may be retained as part of the historical dataset that powers trend analysis.

8. Security

We run on Google Cloud / Firebase infrastructure with access controls, including Google Sign-In and server-enforced rules so each client can access only their own data. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information.

9. Your choices and rights

You can access or update basic account information, or request deletion of your account, by contacting isaac@mwangapartners.com. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information; we honor applicable verified requests. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

10. Cookies

We use only the essential cookies and similar technologies needed to sign you in and keep your session secure. See our Cookie Notice for details.

11. Children

The Services are for business users and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. United States only

We operate in the United States and store data on U.S.-based infrastructure. The Services are intended for U.S. users.

13. Changes

We may update this policy and will post a new effective date; for material changes we will provide reasonable notice.
